Kaye has recently completed a program she conducted over several months at a rural healthcare facility we provide education consultancy for called Mindfulness at Work.
This involves registered nurses reflecting on themselves and their behaviour in the workplace as well as the behaviour of their colleagues. All the participants found this enlightening and that it contributed positively to their workplace performance.
As we know most errors at work occur as a result of sins of omission rather than sins of commission, i.e. steps we leave out, rather than steps we do incorrectly, Mindfulness at Work helps to reduce these sins of omission by encouraging us to really BE at work when we are at work.
